Luo’s practice focuses on everyday scenes within urban space. Many of his images originate from the perspective of his studio - views through windows, fragments of streets, or buildings partially obscured by plants - where interior and exterior are translated into restrained and stable visual structures. These images do not point to specific events or narratives; instead, they resemble fragments extracted from daily life. Through soft colour palettes and clear compositions, he establishes a sense of order while avoiding emotional emphasis. The absence of figures and the removal of action allow space itself to become the subject. In doing so, the familiar city appears to lose its usual rhythm. Like a film slowed down to its limits, the image enters a state that is nearly still yet still in motion, where viewing shifts from following events to dwelling in the moment itself
